If you're a sports fanatic and have always wanted a way to capture your sporting activities as you see them, the Miveu-X accessory could be your best bet. This ruggedized accessory allows one to capture videos of your adventures from your point-of-view using an iPhone 4/4S at a fraction of the price of dedicated sports-oriented video cameras.

The Mivue-X set consists of a mount which can be secured onto the wearer's chest and a separate, rugged, high-impact case. The case is equipped with a wide-angle lens to enable users to capture wider perspectives and comes with an integrated shutter button, too. All you need to do is enclose your phone into the case and attach it onto the chest mount's adjustable clip.
Unlike conventional camcorders, we think the benefit of using an iPhone is that one can immediately postprocess videos in-camera and share them on social media sites without the hassle of sorting through massive files on a personal computer.

Available in black, green, blue and orange, the Miveu-X can be yours if you make a US$75 pledge to the creator's Kickstarter project. At the time of writing, the project has 65 backers who have already pledged about US$8,625 with 13 more days to go.
We think this could have been a great tool to record those faceplants we made while learning to rollerblade.
