Canon unleashes new PowerShot and Ixus compacts

The Ixus 310 HS.
The PowerShot SX230 HS and SX220 HS replace the SX210 IS. Both point-and-shoots have a 12-megapixel BSI image sensor, 14x optical zoom lens that extends from 28mm to 392mm, 3-inch LCD and full-HD movie recording function. The only difference between the two shooters is that the SX230 HS has an onboard GPS function while the SX220 HS doesn't.
Canon also unveiled two other Ixus compacts--the Ixus 220 HS and Ixus 115 HS. The duo have slim and stylish silhouettes to appeal to the trendy crowd. The former has a 24mm, 5x optical zoom lens while the latter sports a 28mm, 4x optical zoom lens. Scroll down for more details of the five point-and-shoots.
