Short-lived iPhone app: Nintendo DS Simulator

Unlike the dudes over at Gizmodo, I'm not going to go so far as to call this a full emulator, although the developers at ZM2Dev.com say that more game cards are in store in the future. There's a problem there, however, because surely a dodgy application like that would have no future in the App Store, especially once Nintendo's lawyers pick up the scent. Check out the video demo of the app below. It's called DoubleSys.

In its present form, the DoubleSys DS simulator is on thin ice already, and it won't be a surprise to anyone if it's soon pulled from the App Store. But that begs a whole boatload of questions:
  • Who approved this app in the first place? And how?

  • Was it the same people who denied the Google Voice application?

  • Were they thinking straight?

  • How much time are they spending using the cannabis application?

August 21 Update: Both the app and the Youtube video that I linked to above have now been pulled. Nintendo admits that they did "seek the removal of this application" due to "infringement of [their] intellectual property rights."
