So where's the free HP Printer contest?

Sorry, folks--I had to remove it from this blog due to some violations of CNET Asia's blogging policies. So the contest has been removed and also dis-associated from this blog. Nevertheless, it will run for the next three days out of my personal tech blog.

Those of you who had participated from this blog, don't fret, because your entries have been recorded and will be part of the final draw on November 19.

I sincerely aplogize for the confusion caused. Do participate from my tech blog going forward.

Cheers!!
Jason

Knock, knock--brand new Web site for the Indian Army

This has been well-adapted by many departments such as health, finance, etc. Now, it seems the Army, too, has woken up from its slumber and come up with a brand new Web site.

Nokia alleges that Apple iPhone violates 10 different patents

Looks like the two biggest mobile giants are going to battle it out in the open. Now, that's very interesting since Nokia has now filed a patent lawsuit against Apple. That's very interesting since most of the geeks out there know how protective Apple is over its own intellectual property. In fact, it's bullied quick a number of companies and folks over such violations!

Android war is brewing up here in India, too--Samsung i7500 Galaxy reviewed

Little did any of the phone enthusiasts expect that the Android phones would battle it out in India. But it looks like everyone was really caught off guard because we currently have all the three Android-based phones available (officially) in India.

HTC has brought the Hero via Airtel and within a couple of days we now have the Samsung i7500 Galaxy available on the Tata DoCoMo networks. So, it sure seems to be a war brewing and the networks are trying to cash in on the "Touch Revolution" that most folks are getting attracted to. Still no sign of the Apple iPhone 3GS around the corner, and even if it were to be launched here, the pricing on Indian shores will be sky-high.
