Boomerang Awards 2009 winners and not-so-winners

It seems Proximity brought home the bacon in the recently concluded Boomerang Awards for 2009, held during the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) Conference.

Proximity took home four out of the nine awards, including the Gold Boomerang

Congratulations to the winners! Even if competition for the awards was somewhat fiercer this time around and there were other more deserving entries, a lot of insider folk still thought that Proximity did deserve its respective awards for its campaigns.

This also goes to show that more and more agencies are going the digital route and that there really are viable and tangible results using the Internet and mobile solutions.

I guess this means more
Lola Techies will start popping up in the near future.
