Solar Eclipse has Pinoys on Social Networks Come Alive

Partial Solar Eclipse July 22, 2009
Well, you can now certainly use this as an example of 'spread like wildfire'. Lol.

In less than a few minutes, almost the entire Pinoy social networking scene was abuzz at the just recently concluded solar eclipse. Everyone from Friendster to Facebook to Multiply to Plurk to Twitter to almost every other Pinoy blogger and even little odds and ends online were commenting, sharing, basically engaging in this once in a lifetime phenomenon.

It was lots of fun reading and browsing through everyone's statement, and yes it came to a point that there were just too many to track! One common thing among the bloggers though... it was a 'Heroes' moment. One guy even commented, this would have been the perfect time to launch the next season. Lol.

Thanks to Azrael for the great solar eclipse pics on his Multiply page, which were featured on SpaceWeather.com as well. ^_^
