Geek lifestyle bootcamp--Kolektib rulez all!

Yup! You heard me right... A boot camp for Geeks. And I quote:

Kolektib's Geek Bootcamp is an alternative computing course that aims
to give you practical tutorials and guidelines on day-to-day
technology. The program was developed for people who are confused and
overwhelmed over the abundance of tools available and would like cut to
the chase by just using what works best. It's all about becoming a geek
in the fastest way possible.

The guys over at Kolektib (of course, my boy JC Medina and his crew) are really doing their thing and making geekery, geekology and geekiness a whole lot of fun in a whole new cool.

For a brief rundown of the stuff they're planning to do, here's an idea:

• Take advantage of Flickr and change the way you manage and store your pictures.
• Polish your Google skills, allowing to find (or stalk) the information that you need.
• Impress people with your Adobe Photoshop skills with with 2-minute tutorials.
• Pimp out your Web browser with Firefox plugins.
• Develop a comfort level with Microsoft Excel and appreciate shortcuts.
• Share your library online and track which ones were borrowed.

Plus lots, lots more!

I think I'm going to be there... I may need that Flickr tips tutorial thing. =D
