Chalk one for the Philippine fashionistas

There are only a handful of Filipinos who make it big on the international fashion scene. Most notable of late is Monique Lhuillier who has taken Hollywood by storm with her signature red carpet and wedding gowns. So you can imagine the fuss it creates locally when Pinoys are lauded abroad.

Today we celebrate that enthusiasm once again! One of the more notable local fashion bloggers, Bryanboy.com, wrote something interesting today after watching The Tyra Banks Show. Here's an excerpt from the post:

Filipino handbag brand "Aranaz" was mentioned on the Tyra show ( "How to Spot Fakes" episode). Congrats!
It sounds funny at first... what? Is it because Aranaz bags are fake or copies?

Anyway, here's the video clip of the segment, featuring the girl from conterfeitchic.com.

Enjoy!
