The BEST car GPS navigation in the world today

Here's the newly announced Google Maps navigation software, Beta. Clearly, obviously, it's the best GPS for the car today. It caches the map so you don't really have to be online if you follow the navigated path generally, so don't worry about trips to Australia and Singapore.

Maybe you can cache the entire Australia... LOL.

This is gonna run on Android 2.0 devices, basically almost every Android phone ever. But of course, the powerful Motorola Droid just announced yesterday will run it best.

Apple bought a mapping company recently, probably to supplant Google Maps. Now, they say this should make Apple beg for Google Maps. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/10/28/AR2009102804124.html

But whatever it is, TomTom and Garmin shares fell into the toilet yesterday. Like almost 40 percent for TomTom. Bye, bye, US$150 maps.
