Week 44 2009 is New Stuff Week!

I will have a LOT of new stuff this week, and stuff that I want and am begging for, which will be announced this week.

Windows 7: Already installed on my X61. I've installed this on my home gaming PC on a new Kingston V+ Series solid state drive (SSD) and it's blazing fast. I have to install it on a few other computers, but that can wait because...

Borderlands: Will take up most of my time this week. The DRM will activate today at 2am, Singapore time, and if the local dealers don't have it in stock today, I'll download it from steampowered.com to play it at 2am today. In fact, I bought Windows 7 and rushed the install just for this game.

http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/10/23/motorola-droid-preview/ is the marvelous sneak peek at the Motorola Droid phone, the first Android 2.0 handset by a major manufacturer. My HTC-built Android Dev phone has a dying keyboard, and I'd love that Motorola sells me one of these babies at SRP so I can have that phone. Anyone from Moto reading this? I've owned a lousy StarTec and an L-series Moto before, and I swore I'd never buy another Moto. But now, YES, you done the right thing!!!!

Google Chrome OS will be detailed this week, too. It will replace the Windows 7 which I'm about to install on my Netbook, and probably my home laptops which don't use Microsoft Office or SAP.
