Rehashed: Final verdict on Wiimotion+ (or how to make your Wiimote better)
Jun 6, 2009 10:21For one year now, they've announced Wii Motionplus, and now we're days from the accessory shipping. I've been dying to put this small adapter which you attach to the Wiimote where the nunchuk is supposed to go, because it's supposed to make your Wiimote super accurate.
Gizmodo has taken a good look at the Wii Motionplus here.
Final verdict: It works as well as possible, buy it. Where the concept of RESISTANCE is not needed, e.g. ping pong, it works perfect. But when RESISTANCE is a great part of the sport/game, e.g. swordfighting, it doesn't work so well.
OK, I'm ordering two. Can't wait for a Wii Motionplus-enhanced lightsaber game.
And then wait again for Nintendo to introduce RESISTANCEplus.

The PS3 also has a controller similar to the Wii +. There's also some sort of pulse sensor for wii.
I think prices for controllers and accesories. Are going beyond the market Nintendo are targeting.

The PS3 can have any hardware he wants, but if the games are not optimized for motion control it's meaningless.
The Nintendo market can sustain Wii Fit, so it can sustain anything.

@Micheal: I agree with you on PS3. I think there's limit to how much a consumer is willing to buy.
