Pirated copies of Microsoft Office 2010 spread offline
Oct 12, 2009 19:58A couple of months back, there were reports that Microsoft Office 2010 had been leaked online. The pirated copies were labelled the Technical Preview of Microsoft's Office 2010.
Just last week, I saw a copy of Microsoft Office 2010 being sold offline for 70 pesos.
The store's (a different outlet from the one selling Pirated Windows 7) salesperson said the Technical Preview is a working copy but is unstable and more suited for technical users.

I said I was not a technical user, so she went back to her bag and produced another copy of Microsoft Office 2010, this time called the Professional copy/version.
The lady said the Professional version was more stable than the Technical Preview and more suited for business users like me.

The DVD copy of the Microsoft Office 2010 is sold for 70 pesos or around US$1.50. Again, I was asking for some discount, but the lady stood firm on her pricing, saying it's the latest version and only a few copies are available.
God bless us all!
