A smile is worth a million pesos for kids
May 15, 2009 08:44How does it feel everytime you help someone? Good, right? And it will always bring a smile to you and to the person you have assisted. Here's one project which I feel is worth supporting since it will benefit our young kids.
Sony Ericsson Philippines, SM Supermalls and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have launched the "Spread the Smiles" charity campaign aimed at collecting a million photographed smiles with the price tag of 1 peso for each photo.
Sony Ericsson will collect 1 million smiles and donate a million pesos to UNICEF's educational programs.
Smile booths would be located in 17 areas to raise the 1 million pesos, nine of which will be located in the SM Supermalls, namely SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Manila, SM Mall of Asia, SM Iloilo, SM Cebu, SM Pampanga and SM Davao.
Filipinos loves to smile. We love to take pictures. What better way to do this to help the kids? That's technology at work for you.
The "Spread the Smiles" campaign will run from May 13 to July 10, 2009.
God bless us all!

I'd prefer a Kissing Booth to a Smiling Booth anytime. :)) It's a step in the right direction, though.

Sounds like a good idea. A million smiles isn't too hard to achieve.
