GMA channel 7 recently announced a partnership they forged with 19 reputable organizations to work together and deliver the up-to-date election news to the general public come 2010 election.

GMA Network President and Chairman Felipe L. Gozon said "We are very, very fortunate that the best of the best are going to partner with us as our equal partners and co-workers in the biggest and widest, most comprehensive coverage of the election in 2010."

The partnership saw the coming together of TV, radio, print, online, telecommunication, education sector and different institutions with one common goal - to achieve a clean and honest election. I would say this is the biggest partnership ever assembled here in the Philippines for election related information gathering and dissemination.

The complete list of partners:

GMA Channel 7, QTV, RGMA, dzBB, GMA New Media, GMANews.TV, GMA Pinoy TV, Philippine Long Distance Company (PLDT), Smart Communications, Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI), Inquirer.net, Catholic Media Network (CMN), AMA Education System.

Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ), Institute for Political and Electoral Reform (IPER), Philippine Bar Association (PBA), Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), the National Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel), and the Commission on Elections.

Flatscreen monitors with virtualization technology

We have been hearing a lot about virtualization lately. Server and storage virtualization are just two of the most common virtualization technology being implemented by the enterprise. You can also hear companies such as Intel, Microsoft, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Dell, Asus, Samsung, and others embedding virtualization into their product offerings all for a couple of reasons--efficiency and cost savings.
