Choosing life for life on Earth
Nov 3, 2009 14:29
Have you ever wondered what happened to the many ancient civilizations that seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth? Only their relics and artifacts remain.
For many people, the reason they choose to live a green lifestyle is to prevent over-utilization of the earth's resources (e.g. oxygen) so our civilization can continue to live on. Incredibly, there are people who will even terminate their pregnancy so as not to add any more "burden" on the planet. Instead of promoting Life, including the life of trees and water and little humans, they choose to promote death.
If you give it another thought, you will realize that if people were to stop having children and start terminating every pregnancy, this will be the quickest way to lead to the end of our civilization.
And if all couples on earth were to choose to have only one child (like in China), eventually there will be only two human beings left on earth. If these two human beings happen to be both males or both females, that, too, will be the end of our civilization.
We will be just be like the ancient Incas, with only our relics and artifacts left on earth.
