Append a little note to your email to care for the world

I noticed that a lot of company emails are now appended with the message:

"Please consider the environment, do not print this unless you have to."

Here's something that works even better. Append a banner from ReplyForAll.com to the bottom of your email. Not only will you get the message across, sponsors will donate money to the cause as well.

You can choose to support cancer research, global AIDS prevention, animal rights, children's rights, the fight against global warming, provision of clean water, eradicating world poverty or support for educational resources.

I've chosen to support provision of clean water. Here's what the bottom of my email looks like right now.

Last month, through these banners in email, ReplyForAll sponsors contributed enough money to the Student Movement for Real Change USA and Partners in Health to build two wells for two villages of 2,500 people.

It is almost effortless for us to use these email banners. Just sign up at ReplyForAll.com and download the Firefox plugin if you are using Gmail, Yahoo! or Hotmail. If you prefer not to append the banner at the bottom of some of your emails, you can always click the green button at the top.

The plugin doesn't insert signatures into every email that you send, either. It inserts only once every 4 hours to prevent the signature from being implemented too many times within the same email thread.
