A geek's peek at Lenovo

This geek was given a little peek into Lenovo's new range of laptop and desktop offerings this week and thought he'd share with you some of the features he found interesting,

This is the Idea Center A600 launched at last month's CES in Las Vegas. It's sleek and slim and features a 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen. It's a fully integrated desktop with an Intel Centrino 2 processor. It also supports Blu-ray and is full-HD.

Some of the ports at the side.

This is a 4-in-1 remote that comes with it--An air mouse, game controller, Media Center Player and VoIP. The air mouse feature is really cool because it actually turns your computer into a Wii of sorts!

This cool wireless keyboard and mouse had some of the bloggers wowing away.

The Y650 is the lightest 16-inch laptop in the market at 2.55kg.

Integrated JBL speakers.

The integrated JBL speakers even come with a subwoofer underneath the laptop. Awesome stuff.

The touchpad has ridges for better precision and control.

A better look at the ridges.

Besides VeriFace, it also features HDMI, one-key recovery, and eSATA, among a host of other features.

The ThinkPad W700 is a photographer and animator's dream come true. It comes with integrated color calibration where this can adjust the screen colors on its own.

The industry's first Wacom integrated digitizer.

See this Hello Kitty drawing herself in less than 2 minutes?

This geek understands that most of these models will be available in Singapore come March. You have one month to save up!
