PMP, PMP and PMP... what's the difference?

iriver, one of the best-known Korean MP3 player manufacturers, is re-entering the PMP (portable multimedia player) market with a new model called P10. The PMP category was presented by iriver in 2004 while in CES. (Also Creative.) Bill Gates did the CES 2004 keynote and introduced this iriver PMC-100 (Portable Media Center) at that time. Because the PMC includes a new mobile platform but didn't succeed through a lack of video codec support. After that many manufacturers started to release a PMP with Linux OS embedded, such as the Cowon A2, Creative Zen, Archos, etc.

Korean-Alienware PC releases with retail of US$8,200

ICEL CNC has released its new high-performance desktop PC targeted at PC gamers who require a high-performance gaming PC. We know that Alienware PC usually releases this conceptual PC at quite high price ranges.
It calls this new PC the Extreme Gaming PC Series 1, and the retail price is 8,232,000 won (US$8,232)

Finally, Nintendo Wii will be here on April 26

Nintendo Korea has announced its latest console gaming device, the Wii, to be released here in Korea on April 26.
Finally, it's here after a year-and-a-half has passed since its US release.
Nintendo has set the price of Wii at about 220,000 won (approx. U$220). I think it's quite a reasonable price for such a fine device.

D-Cube releases another pocket-sized PMP called D9

D-Cube has released its new pocket-sized PMP called D9. The D-Cube brand name of Nextway is known as one of the first-generation MP3 player manufacturers in Korea, but Nextway has been closed down for a few years already. Another company took up the brand name and D-Cube has returned to us.
You should know that one of its famous player called D-cube NMP-612T is the world's first MP3 player with FM transmitter built-in. This model also sold under the name Jens of Sweden MP-300, one of the famous MP3 player brands in Northern Europe markets.

Google Korea introduces new service for Koreans

Today Google Korea introduced a new service called SATURI (dialect) in Korean. Its translation service is based on the Korean languages. For the uninitiated, Korea has several local accents by each province. So if you did not grow up in that area, it's really difficult to understand what the locals are talking about. It just sounds like a foreign language.
