Apple confirms free cases and return policy for iPhone 4 in Singapore

We've already heard it from Steve Jobs last week, but here's confirmation from Apple Singapore that users buying the iPhone 4 in Singapore next week will get a free case, as well as the option to return the phone within 30 days for a full refund provided it's undamaged. The free cases will be offered at launch and for future purchases up to September 30.

All three local service providers--SingTel, StarHub and M1--have also confirmed yesterday that they will start selling the iPhone 4 on Friday, July 30, although details of the launch weren't shared. It is widely believed that the telcos will be holding a midnight launch on Thursday night. The telco operators started accepting online registrations late last month presumably to gauge interest levels and whether users are signing up for a new line or simply renewing their existing contracts.

The iPhone 4 will also be available online from the Apple Store in both 16GB and 32GB, black and white versions. Although Jobs has confirmed that the white iPhone 4 is scheduled to ship at the end of July, reports on the Web have suggested that could be limited due to supply issues.
