Antec's Advance Cleaning Solutions mini-review

Antec is well known for its power supplies and PC cases, so imagine our surprise when the company decided to send us a box of its new cleaning solutions to try. Now we don't normally review cleaning solutions, but we figured since we had a ton of ugly fingerprint-smudged tablets, monitors and smartphones, we may as well.

To test how effective the Antec's cleaning solution is, we got a different dedicated cleaning solution and dirtied up a tablet with fingerprints. We then divided the screen into two parts and gave each side of the screen a single wipe using the bundled micro-fiber cloth that came with Antec's cleaning kit. Check out the results below.

As you can see for yourself, the pictures show that there isn't really that much of a difference between both solutions. We think it may be the cloth working the magic here and there may still be some value to the Antec package in this case. So if you're still keen on getting the kit, it should be available in most Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam through local distributors.

The 240ml and 60ml bottles comes in one package together with the cloth and will retail for US$18.99. The smaller 60ml version is meant for traveling--for you to whip it out on the plane to clean your dirty tablet screen.
